Wine, Food, Music and Crafts Make For a Fun Outing

It’s the season for the stomping of the grapes!  In true I Love Lucy fashion, you too can jump in a barrel of grapes and stomp till you drop.

A hot Florida afternoon found me at a local winery’s harvest wine festival.  (Who knew you could grow grapes for wine in Florida?)

I tasted a tart and refreshing “wine-arita”, a frozen drink like a margarita but made with white wine while I cooled my heels in the wine shop.

The live music kept festival-goers entertained as they lounged on lawn furniture including an enormous bubble gum pink blow up “sofa”.  Food was delicious and plentiful.

Join me as I take you on a tour of the craft booths where I made some interesting finds and met some nice folks.  Learn along with me how some of the jewelry was hand-crafted as artisans share their processes with me.
