Pink is a bold declaration! A woman in pink simultaneously proclaims her strength and femininity in no uncertain terms. Wear pink in hot, haute, sparkly, silky, blush, rose, fuchsia, carnation, magenta. Wear pink to inspire confidence and exude confidence.
Pink Gets a Fresh Make-Over
Pink is not just for little girls anymore. Pink has had a make-over and has become a glamorous symbol of power and confidence. A woman in all pink rivals the power of a woman in all red. A woman in pink eschews the traditional color code of power in favor of expressing genuine strength and confidence. Red can be overbearing, over-confident and overwhelmingly powerful. Red can exude such energy as to make others feel small and weak. Red, in large doses can over-power and intimidate.
The Meaning of Pink
Pink has the same amount of confidence and strength as red without intimidating. The purity of white mixed with red creates feelings of warmth and safety. Vibrant, creative energy without aggression is the message and the feeling exuded by pink.
A combination of red and white, pink contains the action and connotation of success of red with the cultured softness and insight represented by white – a powerful combination indeed! The deeper the pink, the more passion and energy it exhibits.
Step Into Pink to Transfix and Transform
Pink can be playful, teasing, elegant, fun, creative and wild. The underlying feeling pink elicits is love. The warmth and security of a strong, feminine and confident woman is exhibited by a woman in pink. The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. Pink signifies unconditional love and understanding.
Pink unabashedly communicates confidence and insightfulness in the giving and receiving of nurturing and love. Pink is feminine and romantic, affectionate and intimate, thoughtful and caring. Pink is the physical passion of red softened by white into a gentle loving energy that is genuine, confident and dependable.
Pink transforms you and those around you. Wear pink and you engender feelings of trust, confidence and sincerity in others. Sweep into a room in all pink and watch heads turn as your feminine power calms and soothes while it establishes you as credible, thoughtful, capable and caring.
A woman in pink is powerful, confident love personified.
Pink Over Fifty
Can a woman over fifty pull off pink? With maturity comes confidence, spunk and a release of creative energy. Who better to rock pink than a mature woman who knows her abilities, strengths and style and who is grounded in love?
Women, for generations, have surrounded themselves with pink in the decor of their homes from boudoir to bath to living room. It’s time to pull on the pink and swagger. It’s time to own pink and proclaim love – self-love and the nurturing love for others.
You either love pink or despise it, I think! If you let it, pink will make you feel bold and creative without being loud. Pink is perfection when you want to exude happiness, lightness and feminine strength.
I happen to love pink as you can see from the design of my blog! I’ve owned a rose pink wool coat that I wore joyfully everywhere. I also owned an all silk loose-fitting fuchsia suit which became my signature outfit at work – until I brushed a freshly painted door and took a little of the paint with me. If only the paint had been pink! I always feel empowered wearing pink.
Are you brave enough to wear all pink? Do you wear pink at all? What does pink signify for you? What shade of pink suits you best?
